Life on Gozo
Xlendi is busy in summer with divers, day visitors and holiday renters, and very quiet in winter. Victoria, the island capital, is a short drive up the valley, and the ferry from Mgarr harbour to Malta takes around 25 minutes. Many owners use Xlendi as a second home or for letting. On the main island, you might compare Sliema, St Julian's and Birkirkara, all at a very different price level and pace.
