Land in Saudi Arabia
Land for sale in Saudi Arabia totals 225 listings out of 26,337 on our site, a thin slice. The rules on undeveloped urban land and foreign ownership make due diligence essential.
On current RealEstateAbroad listings the Saudi median asking price is €226,474 and the middle half is €154,956 to €381,429. Land pricing is driven by city, district, street width and permitted use, so national figures are only background.

| Median price per m² | €1,132 |
In some cities, undeveloped urban land (known as white land) is subject to an annual fee set by the authorities, intended to push owners to develop. Ask the seller whether the plot is already registered for the fee and who is responsible for arrears.
Land values in Saudi cities change quickly with new transport and infrastructure projects. Use recent registered transactions as comparisons, which the real-estate authority publishes, rather than asking prices. A formal valuation from a licensed valuer is wise before any large purchase, and many banks require one. Ask what the plot would sell for to a developer, not only to a private buyer.
Plots are the hardest asset for outsiders to verify. Even where the 2026 ownership law lets non-Saudis hold property in a designated area, the land itself must sit inside that area, be properly registered and be free of disputes. Never rely on a plot number quoted in a listing; ask the lawyer to check it against the registry map. Expect additional approvals if you intend to build, and note that a purchase of undeveloped land may carry holding fees that continue until construction starts.

On Saudi land, the registry record outranks the sales brochure.
Consider apartments or villas if you prefer finished property.
